Scheduling resources part-time against a project
We have people who work across several projects with time billable to each up to a maximum % (say 50%).
I don't see how to enter a resource as only working on a task 50% of the time. Task estimate asks for start date, then appears to assume 100% resource allocation. So my part time resources are all finished the project (based on the estimates) by the project half way point.
Looking for workarounds.
- Can't fiddle their available hours, as then the utilisation measures are not accurate. Plus this is very manual when you get several projects with different start and finish dates.
Any ideas on a workaround? THe only thing i can think of is a rebuild of the project managemetn section using custom fields - looks like it would take ages.
