Help with formula to return difference of days between dates

Hi,

I cannot figure out a formula to extract the day value from two dates, and subtract one from the other. I am going to use this formula as a numeric formula for a saved search.

I am trying to get the formula to basically do the following except in the proper format for a saved search:

date 1: '01/20/2010'
date 2: '01/15/2011'

If these two dates were the dates I was using, I would want the formula to return 5.
