Stalled projects?

We want to create a search that shows stalled projects. We were thinking of a project task search, filtered something like:

Status = Not Started, In Progress
Predecessor: Date Completed = On or before two weeks ago

But Date Completed isn't a native field on projects tasks (it is on CRM tasks).  We've created a version that uses Date Last Modified instead, but that's not quite right. Before I add a custom date field to the project task record, anyone have any suggestions?
