Advanced Projects & Performance Problems/Scalability

Hi--

I've been dealing with NetSuite support on what we perceive as a performance problem with the projects system.  And while I have their answer, I'm just having a hard time believing that what I was told is in fact the correct/real answer.

Our problem is that we are intending to use the advanced projects system to manage our processes as they relate to the lifecycle of a sale.  Now, to be fair, a 'sale' for us is a service related product that has a long lifecycle and some complexity.  We've identified that for certain of our deals there can be between 150-160 project tasks in a project.  The problem we run into is that somewhere between 100 and 125 project tasks, the project system grinds to a painfully slow 2+ minutes to edit a project task.  The question I have is anyone
