Projects & Sales Orders
How do people manage projects and sales orders?
We create an opportunity / estimate and attach a project for Time and Materials tasks.
This ends up as a sales order, which gets billed at monthly intervals.
Lets say the sales order is for 10 hours, which gets fully furnished during the month and billed at month end, closing the sales order.
Additional time is then added to the project the following month.
When this time is approved, I cannot invoice through the sales order as it has a status of billed. I use the sales orders to calculate commissions, so how should I track this?
