Adjust Inventory - Tag Project

Hello - We are trying to adjust inventory and assign the cost to a project.  Problem, due to where the customer field is located, the cost shows a net zero on the project.
When you are looking at the profit of the job, it does not reflect the cost from the inventory.  I have tried to modify the inventory form, but it will not allow me to move the customer field down to the line item where it is needed. 

Anyone else have this issue and have a work around?  Not sure why NS would build the inventory form this way or have an option
