OneWorld + Drop Ship = design flaw?
I'm trying to set an Inventory Item as Drop Ship. To do so, you of course need to set a Preferred Vendor. But the Preferred Vendor necessarily belongs to a particular Subsidiary.
So, I tested the following scenario : Employee restricted to Sub A makes a sales order for a drop ship item. The preferred vendor of the item belongs to Sub B (which our employee does not have access to).
Upon trying to save my SO, I get the following error: "You cannot edit the account of a transaction line that is linked to others"
So, like, design flaw or what? What is the recommended practice here? How do I get around this?
