Paying a non-base currency bill using a bank account in the base currency?
We recently discovered that this is possible. Let's say the base currency of your sub is USD. Go to the "Pay Bills" select a USD bank account for that sub. You'll be able to pay any bill regardless of currency. You can even pay a non-USD bill out of your USD bank account. NetSuite will "correctly" set the FX rate, but your bank has no idea this payment should be settled in another currency.
If you select a bank account that is not denominated in the base currency of the sub it is associated to, you'll be restricted to bills denominated in the currency of the account (as you'd expect).
