Subsidiary restrictions on your role deny you access to this record
Hi,
Here is the scenario:
We have multiple subsidiaries set up in the system & the external consultant, who has access to subsidiary # 1, wishes to view intercompany journals. When he/she tries to view an intercompany journal it shows with the error; "Permission violation: Subsidiary restrictions on your role deny you access to this record...". This particular journal is a intercompany transaction that affects multiple subsidiaries for example; debit subsidiary #1 & credit subsidiary #2.
The issue is (due to commercial confidentiality) we do not want to give the external consultant access to any records in subsidiary #2, except for intercompany journals. How do I manage this situation??
