Consolidating a "non-NetSuite" subsidiary

Does anyone have any experience with performing a monthly consolidation in NetSuite when one subsidiary is using a different ERP general ledger system?

They are not ready to migrate to NetSuite but the rest of the company is using NS. We are considering trying to import their entire general ledger activity each month. Any thoughts or guidance greatly appreciated.
