Multiple Subsidiaries or One Sub + Classes ?
Looking for advice on Subsidiary use vs. Classes in a consulting organization.
We have one actual legal entity, and multiple groups that were absorbed into the main entity through acquisitions/absorbtions. These would typically be considered their own entities, however they cannot stand on their own and require resources from the main entity in order to facilitate their sales/deliveries of consulting hours. Initially we expected these would be subsidiaries, however quickly realized that there are far too many limitations between subsidiaries for how those sub-entities are capable of running now.
