1 Subsidiary purchases and want 2nd subsidiary to pay?

My Customer has a Canadian Subsidiary that purchases from an Asian vendor who requires payment in US Dollars.  They were wondering if their US Subsidiary can pay the Vendor Bill in USD and somehow have in intercompany transaction take care of having the expense hit the Canadian Subsidiary.

Is this possible to do?
