Inactivating Subsidiaries
One of our subsidiaries (Canada) was set up with the wrong base currency. For 2017, we're looking to set up a new subsidiary for Canada with the correct currency and to inactivate the old subsidiary. My question is, how will inactivating the subsidiary affect existing amortization schedules? Will they still post to the inactive subsidiary? We're trying to figure out how to transfer all of those existing amort schedules to the new subsidiary correctly... any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
