Inter-company Over fulfilment Option

I am new to Netsuite and am trying to figure out how we can fulfil, for example 2.1kg of Watermelon to an Inter company who has ordered 2kg.

I have checked the box "update inter company order quantities automatically prior to shipment", which when changing the PO gives a warning of "when you change the inter company sales order quantity, the inter company purchase quantity and price will be adjusted based on this change", on which I click OK

However when you go to save the changes there is an error message - "Items, accounts, location, units and rate cannot be updated for inter company transactions".
