Issue Notification Emails: Released is Not Actually Released
NetSuite emails me when the software for an issue of mine is released ("Status Closed - Released"). Lovely... except that it actually isn't released to me. It's probably just released from one group in NetSuite to another, like QA to production or somesuch, so I have to wait another few weeks to actually get it.
As I see it, the fundamental problem is that I'm looking at this email from a customer perspective (when I can use the new software), but the email is generated from a QA or customer support perspective (when that group is finished doing what they need to do). I would expect to receive an email that tells me when I can use the patched software, but I don't.
