Hosting of this forum - what are the specs and load like?

We are preparing to deploy vBulletin forum software (which this forum uses) for our own customers. We currently have our own web server in-house, but would prefer to host it off site.

[*]Any thoughts on the performance of vBulletin and the necessary server resources to host a 2,000 member forum with 250 posts per week?
