How can I search for the term 'other name'?

I am trying to search for posts with the term 

other name
(as in the pseudo record type).  When I search for other name it says both words are too common. Hmm, OK.  I then tried 
"other name"
and when I search it changes my query to 
"other*name"
- which of course has no results
