Commissions and Credit Memos

There is a glaring omission in the online help.  Personally I think it's really a glaring design flaw, but in any case people should be warned about it....

If you pay commissions on the amount paid on invoices (i.e., on Collections) and you have a credit memo applied to the invoice....but not actually refunded....  the commissions calculation ignores it. 

Therefore, if you don't adjust down the commission accordingly at the point of authorizing the commission, you will overpay commission.
