Tips For Mass Updating Employee Information Using the Import Assistant
Using the CSV import feature you can update information on the employee record in bulk.
Before you get started with your CSV import there are a few things to keep in mind:

[*]If you are adding new employees, make sure you add them first and include the mandatory fields
[*]If you are importing custom field information, make sure the field is added on the employee record before completing the import
[*]If you have the effective dating feature turned on, this is not currently supported in the CSV import. The effective date of the information will be the date you did the import
