Chaining Map-Reduce scripts together

At SuiteWorld 2016, I thought I heard that you could chain Map-Reduce scripts together, so that the output of one script feeds the input of the next script.

Can somebody explain how this would work, even if it's just a high-level overview? I can't find any documentation on this.
