Custom Portlet Parameters
I'm working on a custom portlet and trying to set parameters that a user can set to view any number of 8 pieces of data. Running into a couple of issues/questions. First off, is there any way to do a multi-select field as a parameter of the portlet? I'm not seeing it and don't see any "creative" solutions to this but I'm open to ideas.
Secondly, as an alternative to a multi-select field, I've resorted to creating 8 checkboxes that the user can toggle for their needs. I don't love it but in theory it should work. BUT... when I uncheck a box and hit save, the box will revert to being checked. When I add the portlet and hit Edit, both fields are unchecked and will remain that way until I check them and save them. However if I check any box and save it, there seems to be no way to uncheck and save it. Any ideas?
