Sales Order - Shipping Carrier - OnChange not triggering

Hey community,

So I have a Sales Order and i want to dynamically change the Shipping Carrier to "More" so that i can auto populate the Shipping Method dropdown with values. Now, if i change the Shipping Carrier to "More" manually everything works find and dandy. However, if i change it dynamically with suitescript, the Shipping Method does not auto populate. Is there something i need to call in order to trigger some sort of onChange on the Shipping Carrier so that i can auto populate the Shipping Method dropdown?
