Custom Script - Annual Item Usage

Hi All,

First of all, I apologize if this is on the wrong thread. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I am looking to populate a custom field once a day on the item record. I'd like to show the trailing 12 month usage of that part (sales).

This would help tremendously when creating a saved search, as I can easily see my annual usage, and compare against other fields.

I assume this would take a custom script, but I don't currently have any resources to do so. Can someone confirm that a script would be required, and perhaps help me find a resource to get this made?
