Inventory - Free item / x-deals - how best to track?

Hi there!

Am a new user of NS and was wondering how best to track inventory for some of the products i give out for free (as x-deals) for marketing purposes?

It should reduce from my inventory but no physical income was generated from it so what is the best way to set it up (track it)?
