Search criteria & results: Top Level Parent fields
The sales orders that we initiate in NS have a company record as the customer. However, all the orders initiated outside Netsuite (imported via web services) have an individual as the customer; the individual is a child of some company record.
Since our data is not normalized, searching, reporting and workflows are troublesome.
This would be less of a concern if we could display results of a search using TOP LEVEL PARENT fields, much like displaying PARENT CUSTOMER fields.
Is the solution simply for NS to expose TOP LEVEL PARENT fields for search criteria AND results?
Do I file an enhancement request to make this happen?
