Shipping rates are very high

edited Dec 6, 2019 2:41PM in General 4 comments

Hi all,
I am looking for advice regarding the shipping rates. It costs a lot a lot to ship our products with UPS (or even USPS now) and it hurts our business. For example, a lamp that is 55" long and weighs only 16lbs is shipped at a rate of $50 from Ohio to California. $50 for shipping is really very high and no customers are ready to pay that.

Does any one have an advice on how to reduce our charges? Is it a matter of negotiating with UPS for example (I have tried that but did not get much).

I see that some websites charge a flat fee of $7-8$ per item, that are very similar to ours. Can anyone share their experience with us?

Howdy, Stranger!
