show all User Notes on customer record

I just noticed that a User note created on a transaction will not also be displayed on the customer record.

The user note does have a entity field although you can't see it on the form.
For example, if you enter the following url into your browser, then create the note you will see the note displayed on the entity and the transaction.

So why isn't the entity field exposed on the form?  We like to create User Notes on the reocrd they apply to (transaction and custom records) but when looking at the Customer record we need to see all the user notes from all related records.
