Back-up customer data/transactions

edited Dec 6, 2019 2:39PM in General 8 comments

We have our customers all setup under separate customer cards (naturally). Some of our bigger accounts are taking longer and longer to load as they are required to pull more and more sales orders/ invoices/ other associated data. I have orders from 2004 that I'll likely never refer to again, but we'd like to hold on to just in case. We do have a paper trail, but you know how that can be.

Question: is there an easy way to 'offload' old transaction data to my hard drive? I don't know if each sales order/ credit memo/ invoice, ect. could be dumped or exported as pdf files or not!? Even so, we'd lose a lot of the relevant links that can only be seen within Netsuite. Is there possibly a way to backup this data on the servers, somewhere else within Netsuite? This would allow the larger customer cards in question to load faster, while still maintaining old information within NS.

Howdy, Stranger!
