Merging from Transaction: Are these fields really not supported?

I just finished writing a letter in word to merge with Invoices and it looks like the following fields aren't supported?
[LIST]
[*]Amount Paid
[*]Balance[/LIST]This can't be.... I don't believe it.  Can anyone confirm?  Please?
