Database size estimates
I am hard at work estimating database size requirements to assist in the design of some customizations as well as some company policies (e.g. use User Notes or Phone Calls)
I need some basic feedback from NetSuite to plug into my spreadsheet. Once I finish the spreadsheet I will share it here in case others would like to calculate their space usage.
I will list each field/data type that I need size info for:
CheckBox Number 1 byte Currency Number 4 bytes Date Date ? Decimal Number Number 4 bytes Email Address varchar2 4000 bytes(max) Free-Form Text char(300) 300 bytes(max) Integer Number Number 4 bytes List/Record Number 4 bytes Multiple Select n/a 8 bytes (2 * 4byte FKs ??) Percent Number 1 byte Phone Number char(20) 20 bytes? Time of Day Timestamp 1 byte
