Post Results of Scheduled Report to an FTP Site

I have a need to automatically post the results of a daily scheduled report to a vendor's secure FTP site in order to integrate our systems on a daily batch basis. I have the scheduled report running and producing the desired daily results...can anyone suggest what would be a best practice for posting these daily files onto my vendor's password protected FTO site....preferably in .csv format?
