apply discount depends on order amount

Hi,

can I apply discount depends on Order amount on the website?

example:
(if order amount > $100 - apply 20% discount)
(if order amount > $200 - apply 25% discount)

and let the customer see this on his cart page - is that doable? If not, is it doable in the Scriptable Checkout in the new release?

and we want to apply this scenario for some customers only, depends on category.
