Best Practices - Documents

Hi,
We are implementing the Netsuite solution in our organization and will be storing our documents within the application.

If anyone has any best practices on how to structure the documents to maximize the storage capacity, such as file type, compression, etc
I would appreciate if you could share that information or contact me.
