Project Costs
In NetSuite, how do we record project costs as work in progress (Balance sheet item), and release progressly to cost of sales (P&L item). Let say a project is awarded for Engineering Services for a duration of 24 months, with a milestone customer billing every two months for 12 billings.
The project costs include the following:-
1. traveling expenses incurred for this project is not an overhead cost but a work in progress
2. internal manpower cost from engineer time tracking is also a work in progress
3. PO issued to vendor for engineering tools is also a work in progress
