Exclude items in Global Search

Is there a way to exclude (intentionally) an item from the Webstore Global Search when it is set to "Display in Web Store"? The items in question are not included in any category and have no store descriptions, photos, webstore names or keywords, but do have Display Names, and are retrieved by webstore searches. Since there is nothing there to display it appears on the page as blank space, usually separating valid result items with large gaps. The Display in Website setting is needed. Thanks in advance.
