Master PO, Inventory at Vendor, Drop Ship PO
Looking for improvements for the following business model. We own inventory which is stored in our vendor warehouse. The high level:
1) We create a purchase order to vendor
2) We provide a deposit to vendor. (may be 25-100% of PO)
3) When we sell an item, we need vendor to fulfill
4) We have an average of a 1.5% return rate where the item needs to be shipped back to the vendor
Constraining factor - in order for our vendors to properly fulfill our inventory, the vendor needs to have the inventory in their system. When the vendor executes the fulfillment, they create an indivdual invoice for that specific fulfillment.
