Confirmed Opt in

I need a big help with marketing campaigns:
We have a few thousand of customers had unsubscribe subscriptions in campaigns
So Netsuite set this field as READ-ONLY, I understand that only the recipient can Opt in.
| Global Subscription Status | Confirmed Opt-Out |
we have a few hundred of old customer, "Confirm opt out" two or three years ago and want to rejoin (opt-in)
but they already delete their original email.
Is there a way to re-invite them to Confirmed Opt_in or to clear [Global Subscription Status] field to blank ?
is there a sample I can have a look ?
