Can we allow a BI tool to see NetSuite data for reporting?

Our BI tool is hosted in our internal network here at our company. We wanted to know if we can somehow allow this BI tool to access the NetSuite data. Once the BI tool gets the data, we can do reporting on it. We will have the ability to query on the data, visaulize the data in pie-charts/graphs, etc. I spoke to one of my colleagues in MIS department. He asked me to find out if we can route the data in a specific server inside our environment and then from this server we can transfer the data to the
