Safety Stock as a time period

Hello

Im new to NetSuite, so I'm hoping that you can help.

I'm starting to look at Demand planning, and have noticed that the Safety Stock level is a manually entered number of items.

I would like to have it so that it is a variable amount depending on how much I sold last month.  Is it possible to automate that?
