Distribute Inventory

We turned on Multi Location in our Sandbox , created a location, ran a Simple Distribution. We then upload our bin numbers, associated each item to a bin. The on hand shows up in the item record for the location but not in the bins. I tried to run the Bin Put Away Worksheet but there was nothing there. How do I move the inventory to the bin numbers?
