Saved Searches Bundle

All,
I have question on Saved Searches Bundle.
I created a search bundle in sandbox with 50+ searches. Now I would need this to be installed in production. I am not sure if this is correct way to use the bundle for saved searches, as it introduced new fields as part of bundle which I did not add. I searched suiteanswers and it stated it will be added, but not any more documentation on that. I checked this forum and not much of any help.
If bundle is not viable option, I have to manually create these 50+ searches in production with more to come.
