Keeping track of month end tasks for Finance department

Hello,

I would like to be able to track our Finance team's tasks in NetSuite. Does anybody use NetSuite to know the status of your team's tasks?

For example...What is the best practice for having a list on the dashboard, with Finance tasks assigned to specific individuals, and have the entire Finance team be able to see those tasks and their status? (Waiting on Someone Else, In Progress, Done, etc...
