GDPR and lack of SSL on Sitebuilder

We have a sitebuilder site where we collect item options that contain PII.  With GDPR, the lack of SSL on sitebuilder is a compliance issue. Has anyone found any valid workarounds to address this? NetSuite is still calling site wide SSL an "enhancement".
