Employee Restrictions

Hi all, my question is related to the option "Employee Restrictions" option to - own and subordinates only on a custom role of Sales Center. It would have been perfect if this restriction allowed a subordinate to access their supervisor's customer. The reason we are having this requirement is because sometimes a sales team lead may delegate some work to some of their subordinate - like the sales lead can delegate creation or editing of a sales order for a customer to their subordinate sales rep while they are away or busy with something else.
