Capturing Credit Card Info Using only P/N Ref

Hello All,

I noticed that the payflow pro api supports capturing and crediting of payments based only on the P/N Ref but when I try to do a cash refund or do a delayed capture using only this reference, it fails.  It seems like I will need the original credit card info for it to be successful.  Are these assumptions correct and if they are, will Netsuite be providing the ability to capture and credit based only on this reference # in the future.
