CSC Match on AMEX working?

My CSC match field for AMEX doesn't seem to be working - rarely or at all.  Saw this on many customers and I've tested using the 4 digits on the top right of the front of the card and it comes through with CSC Match = 'N'.  Is there a fix filed on this one?  Anyone else see this?
