Error When Charging Credit Cards

edited Nov 28, 2019 12:10PM in Accounting / ERP 13 comments

Our customer are experiencing difficulty processing their credit card in our shopping cart. We have placed several test orders and have been able to reproduce this error 60% of the time. The error message reads,

"Credit Card Authorization Failure Reason: Invalid credit card account number. Please check to make sure you have provided the correct credit card account number."

After receiving several calls about this, our obvious explanation was our customers were simply inputting the incorrect information. When placing our test orders, we tripled checked to make sure the information we inputted was correct but still received the same error. This is a HUGE issue as there is no estimate of how many sales we are losing.

Howdy, Stranger!
