Empty Navigation Pane

On the new "out of the box" reports {like A/R Detail}, the new navigation pane doesn't show anything.  Shouldn't I see a list of Customers if 'Cust:Job' is the column heading?

It'll show the red "indicators" when you use the 'find' function but, I can't seem to figure out how to get the little blue indicators to show.

Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something really obvious or something?
