Improving Performance for FireFox Browser

I'm confused about the announcement for "Improving Performance for FireFox Browser." I've been instructed by several tech support reps that my FireFox cache should be set to 0, and it is. This announcement implies that I should have my cache set to something above 0, otherwise I don't see how the instructions in the announcement will help.

NetSuite, please clarify what the Firefox cache settings should be set at.
