Custom Item Template Problem

Since the upgrade I noticed that NS changed the Web Site Item/Category Templates page.  It looks like they flipped the order in which the "template html" and the "additions to head" fields appear.  I didn't think anything of it at first, however, when I went to edit one of those templates, it only displays a portion of the code. It's like there is a limit on the number of characters that can be copied into the field.  I can't edit the template and I can't create any new ones.  A number of these templates are broken now - which means
